Meet The Team

At KD Marine we have a highly experienced team of staff across our office and workshop who are supported by a team of contractors across a range of disciplines.

  • Hamish Petersen – Managing Director

As Owner and Managing Director of KD Marine, Hamish oversees the day to day running of the business and is ultimately responsible for delivery on behalf of KD Marine’s client base.

Having gained a wealth of industry experience throughout his career, Hamish has been active in the subsea oil and gas industry across the globe and is regarded as one of the most highly competent figureheads in the UK diving sector.

Hamish trained as a commercial air diver at Pro Dive in Cornwall in 1975 and after years diving with CG Dorris, and KD Marine (pre-acquisition) he moved into the office where he worked as Equipment, Project and latterly Regional Manager at BUE Services.

In 1989 Hamish re-established KD Marine as a Diving Contractor and has built the company into the successful and respected business it is today.

Hamish is the current Chairman of the employers signatories ODIA (Offshore Diving Industry Agreement), he is also on the committee of IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) and the SUT (Society of Underwater Technology).

Commercial

  • Linda Warden - Commercial Manager

Linda comes with over 20 Years experience in Oil & Gas working with Meta, Stork, ICR, ROVOP, Rigmar, Interocean amongst others.

Linda is the Commercial Contact alongside the MD for Commercial Matters. Linda also supports the business as Business Support Manager.

  • Amy Grant-Simpson - Marketing Consultant

Amy’s background is in subsea having worked for installation contractors like Ocean Installer, Technip, McDermott and Saipem.

Operations

  • Chloe Bain - Project Coordinator 

Chloe comes with over 8 years experience, working with Bilfinger Salamis UK, Highland Oilfield Services, and Stork in Project / Operations.

Chloe works alongside the OPMs, Operations Personnel as well as Logistics and Crewing.

Crewing

  • Emma McIntyre - Crewing Coordinator

Emma comes with 9 years Personnel Logistics experience, having worked with companies like, Worley, Wood Group, Atlas, Stena and Archer.

Emma works solely with the contractors for crewing ensuring they are compliant and their trips are as smooth as possible. Handling timesheets, queries and question.

During contracts, Emma is the Key Contact for KD Marine's contractors, divers and personnel.

HSSEQ

  • Robyn Goodwin - HSSEQ Manager

Robyn has several years experience within HSSEQ. Robyn is NEBOSH Qualified and is the key contact within KD Marine for all HSSEQ related matters.

Workshop/Warehouse

  • Ruairi Pitt - Workshop/Warehouse Manager

Ruari has years of experience at KDM looking after the Workshop/Warehouse on a daily basis, he also supports the team with Equipment as well as Logistics.

Ruairi's role also involves working closely with Operations to ensure the equipment is ready when needed.
